Adding an Enhancement to an item will increase its stats and damange. There are lots of types of Enhancements that can make you more powerful, but you should try to pick the BEST Enhancements for the type of Class that you are using. The right Enhacement can make all the difference!

Furious: Increase all damage done by 15%
Northern Fortitude: Reduces all incoming damage by 5%

5th Skill [Rank 5]: Heart's Embrace

Reduces your incoming damage by 50%, and outgoing damage by 25% for 8 seconds

Description: The Proto Sartorium is a very powerful, experimental offensive suit. It can launch powerful attacks at many enemies at once.

Quick Like Lightning: Your Haste is increased by 15%
Ground: All damage taken is reduced by 10%

5th Skill [Rank 5]: Event Horizon

Reduces all incoming damage by an amount based on Attack Power for 20 seconds

Description: Warriors are quintessential melee fighters. Simple, direct, and effective, they are masters of armed combat, and quite durable.

Mage Skills


Description: Mages are the quintessential magic user. They attack from a distance, able to cause great harm or restrict a target's actions.

1st Skill [Rank 1]: Fireball
Magical
Hurls flame at your opponent, dealing moderate damage on impact, and dealing that same amount again over 10 seconds. Deals more impact damage if Frozen Blood is present on the target, but consumes the debuff
Cost: 20 MP, 6 sec cooldown

2nd Skill [Rank 2]: Ice Shard
Magical
Launches a freezing shard at your enemy, dealing moderate damage. If Scorched is NOT present, applies Frozen Blood, reducing their attack speed and power for 10 seconds. If Scorched IS present, deals increased damage but does not apply Frozen Blood.
Cost: 10 MP, 6 sec cooldown.

3rd Skill [Rank 3]: Explosion
Magical
Causes energies within opponent to become unstable and burst forth, causing moderate damage to your target and light damage to surrounding targets.
Cost: 15 MP, 3 sec cooldown

4th Skill [Rank 4]: Passive Ability
Hot Headed: Magic damage increased by 10%
Chilled Out: Damage taken reduced by 10%

5th Skill [Rank 5]: Arcane Shield
Magical
Shield the caster, transferring most incoming damage to their MP instead of HP and reducing outgoing damage for 20 seconds
Cost: 5 MP, 60 sec cooldown





Rogue Skills


Description: Rogues are quick-moving, deadly fighters. They prey on any weakness in their opponent, while using poisons and evasive footwork to their advantage.

Deals damage based on how much time is left on your application of Viper's Kiss (less time means higher damage)

Deals moderate damage damage, and applies Concealed Blade, causing your attacks to do more damage the lower your target's HP are (if below 40%) for 20 seconds

Elusive: Dodge chance increased by 15%
Incisive: Critical strike chance increased by 15%

4th Skill [Rank 4]: Passive Ability
Elusive: Dogde chance increased by 15%
Incisive: Critical Strike chance increased by 15%

5th Skill [Rank 5]: Thin Air
Physical
Raises dogde by 3% and haste by 5% every time you are hit. Lasts 30s
Note: Effect cannot be stacked.

Healer Skills


Description: Healers are passionately devoted to improving the condition of the world around them. They are perhaps the most valuable allies, able to mend wounds and turn the tide of battle.

Armor: Healer and Acolyte

How to get:
- Healer armor located at Trainers (Code Location: trainers)
- Acolyte armor is an upgrade Healer class (Required Healer Rank: 5)


Mana Regeneration Tips:
- When 'Healing Word' is cast on a friendly target, any damage taken by that target returns mana to the Healer
- When 'Energy Flow' is cast on a hostile target, any strike that lands on this target returns mana to the Healer


1st Skill [Rank 1]: Healing Word
Magical
Heals a friendly target for a large amount immediately, and up to 3 additional nearby targets for a smaller amount. Applies Radiance to the first target, healing for an additional amount over 16 seconds, and restoring some mana to the caster when the target takes damage.
Cost: 30 MP, 6 sec cooldown

2nd Skill [Rank 2]: Heartbeat
Magical
Deals 10% of current HP plus moderate magical damage to the target
Cost: 12 MP, 2 sec cooldown

3rd Skill [Rank 3]: Energy Flow
Magical
Grants mana to the caster each time the target takes damage for 12 seconds. Also applies Inhibition, reducing the target's damage by 30% for 8 seconds
Cost: 5 MP, 12 sec cooldown

4th Skill [Rank 4]: Passive Ability
Pure Hearted: Increase healing by 10%
Resolute: Damage taken reduced by 10%

5th Skill [Rank 5]: Clear Mind
Magical
Reduces friendly target's Mana costs by 50% for 10 seconds
Cost: 20 MP, 20 sec cooldown





Berserker Skills


Description: Berserkers are crazed, intensely powerful fighters. They fear nothing, least of all death, and are known to become even more dangerous when wounded.

Armor: Berserker and Beta Berserker

- The Beta Berserker Armor is available only to characters who played in the Beta Version! (Rare)

3rd Skill [Rank 3]: Blood For Blood

Deals damage based on the difference between your current and maximum HP

4th Skill [Rank 4]: Passive Ability
Furious: Increase all damage done by 15%

5th Skill [Rank 5]: Forgone Conclusion
Physical
Increase haste by 25% for 12 seconds. When the effect fades, you will receive a small percentage of damage dealt under its effect as health

Description: Dragonslayer a Focus class, specifically designed to hunt dragons and dragonkin. They are specialized Warriors.

Physical
Causes 200% of weapon damage over 12 seconds and has a chance stunning the target for 3 seconds.
Cost: 30 MP, 12 Sec cooldown

3rd Skill [Rank 3]: Scorched Steel
Magical
A fiery attack dealing 150% weapon damage.
Cost: 20 MP, 6 Sec cooldown

4th Skill [Rank 4]: Passive Ability
Aggression: You deal 10% additional damage with physical attacks
Resolute: Damage taken reduced by 10%

5th Skill [Rank 5]: Talon Twisting
Magical
If used while in combat with a dragon, 50% of damage done to you will be added to your attacks. Last 8 seconds

Description: A Leprechaun is a Rogue with a prettier face and less honest intentions. They deal high damage, are hard to hit, and look fantastic in green.

Cost: 20 MP, 2 sec cooldown

Note: Deals 138% weapon damage on impact.

2nd Skill [Rank 2]: Healing Word
Physical / Magical
Heals yourself and two friendly targets for a moderate amount.
Cost: 25 MP, 6 sec cooldown

3rd Skill [Rank 3]: Exorcise
Magical
A light based ranged attack, high damage against undead enemies. Hits up to 3 targets.
Cost: 40 MP, 7 sec cooldown 15 MP, 6 sec cooldown

Note: Deals 122% weapon damage to non-undead enemies. Deals 306% weapon damage to undead enemies.

4th Skill [Rank 4]: Passive Ability
Noble Mark: Endurance incrased 20%
Contemplative: Crit chance increased by 5%

5th Skill [Rank 5]: Blinding Light
Physical / Magical
Deals damage to all enemies in range
Cost: 30 MP, 15 sec cooldown

Note: Despite the description claiming to damage all enemies in range, this attack can only hit up to 4 targets in the room.

6th Skill [Rank 10]: Passive Ability
Ultimate Heal: There will be a small chance on every attack to instantly do Ultimate Heal (All-Team-Mate Heal) that will completely heal your party and make you invulnerable from damage for a short amount of time.





DoomKnight Class Skills


Description: Doom Knights are malevolent, dark warriors. They are violent, quite durable, and prefer to work alone. Feared throughout the history of time, the Doom Knight shows little remorse for the living. Sympathy is only derived from brute force.

- You must earned the 10th Rank of Healer, the 10th Rank of Warrior, the 5th Rank of Evil Faction and AQWorlds Member.

1st Skill [Rank 1]: Soul Steal
A quick attack that deals a small amount of damage but then applies Dark Wound on the target, dealing 200% of weapon DPS over 8 seconds. Stacks up to 5 times and heals you for twice the damage dealt at maximum stacks. Also applies Cracked Soul, which increases the target's damage taken by 10% for 8 seconds and stacks 5 times.
Cost: 10 MP, 3 sec cooldown

Deals 151% Weapon Damage

2nd Skill [Rank 2]: Soul Crush
Physical
A quick attack dealing physical and magical damage, improved by the number of Dark Wound stacks on the target. Applies either Feared or Despaired. Feared reduces the target's dodge by 50% and Despaired reduces their crit rate by 50%. Always hit but can't crit.
Cost: 10 MP, 4 sec cooldown

Despaired and Feared fade after 6 seconds if not reapplied.

3rd Skill [Rank 3]: Void Strike
Physical
A strong attack which deals weapon damage plus additional damage increased the closer you are to death.
Cost: 20 MP, 10 sec cooldown

4th Skill [Rank 4]: Passive Ability
Aggression: You deal 15% additional damage with physical attacks
Resolute: Damage taken reduced by 15%

5th Skill [Rank 5]: Blood Offering
Physical
If Dark Wound is on the target, the caster will take additional damage per attack for 10 seconds, but will add some of the amount taken to their next autoattack. Otherwise, applies a 3 second stun.
Cost: 25 MP, 10 sec cooldown

6th Skill [Rank 10]: Passive Ability
DoomStrike: It adds a small chance on every attack to do a MASSIVE darkness attack for about 50x your weapon damage.




Bard Class Skills


Description:
- For Bard: Bards are musicians who have a dramatic effect on the tide of battle. They are valuable allies in a strong group.
- For Troubador of Love: Music rocks your world, and the battlefield. Your special abilities allow you to stay in tune with those around you, whether your powers are used to heal or to hurt. (Suggested by Demi)

Other Tips:
Rangers heavily rely on their Strength, Endurance, and Dexterity stats, so choosing Enhancements that aid these three things will aid you in battle. A great starting Enh would be Thief.

This class is unlike any other in AQW's history. It has the ability to deal cards to you and your opponent and each card has a different effect on each of you!


1st Skill [Rank 1]: Draw

Deals a card to you and your opponent. Cards make you stronger and your opponent weaker. Cards have additional effects when Tap is cast.
Cost: 15 MP, 2 sec cooldown
Tips: You get three types of cards. A Sword, A Shield and a Spell card.

The cards dealt are random, but you can hit Deal again to get different cards. Be careful! Don't spend all of your time and mana looking for just the right cards!

This class is the first LUCK BASED class, so you will need to visit Cysero in the tub in Yulgar's Inn to gear up! Your CRIT can get pretty high with the ALL LUCK build but try your own builds and see what works best for you!

2nd Skill [Rank 2]: Tap

Tap the cards on you and your target, removing the cards and applying powerful effects. Power is increased by Raise The Stakes stacks, which are consumed.

Tips: TAPPING THE SWORD CARD: If YOU have the sword card and you use TAP, it will increase damage you do to your foe. If your FOE has the sword card and you use TAP, it will decrease the damage they do to you.

TAPPING THE SHIELD CARD: If YOU have the shield card and you use TAP, it will increase your defenses making you take less damage. If your FOE has the shield card and you use TAP, it will decrease the their defenses making them take more damage.

TAPPING THE SPELL CARD: If YOU have the spell card and you use TAP, it will apply a decent HoT (Heal over Time) spell to you, restoring a portion of your health for the duration of the spell. If your FOE has the spell card and you use TAP, it will apply a decent DoT (Damage over Time) spell to your for, eating away portion of their health for the duration of the spell.

3rd Skill [Rank 3]: Raise The Stakes

Necromancer Class Skills or Pinkomancer Skills


Description:
- NECROMANCER => Embrace the Darkness that lies within you. Channel it to control the Undead that surround you. The darkest Power can be yours!
- PINKOMANCER => As the natural enemy to Paladins, Pinkomancers are powerful but adorably twisted magic users who command undead buddies. Just because you're this cute doesn't mean you can't kick butt! PINK POWER!

How to get:
- For NECROMANCER:
There will be 2 paths to get that lead to obtaining the non-member Necromancer class.

PATH 1, The Earned Path: You can EARN the Necromancer through hard work and dedication. Once you reach the top of the Tower of Necromancy in DoomWood the master of the tower will offer you the class if you are able to deliver 2 items. The first is the Necropolis University Expanded edition of the Necromonicon which can ONLY be found for Rank 10 DOOMWOOD REPUTATION from the DoomWood Rep Shop in LightGuard Keep. The second item a Creature Shard that will be a 5% drop from the Creature Creation in the Chopping Maul.

In summary, to earn the EARNED version you need to get to Doomwood Rep Rank 10, Farm the Creature Creation and overcome all of the tests and puzzles on your way to the top of the tower.

PATH 2, The AC Path: You can BUY the Necromancer for 2000 ACs from Zorbak in his hut in the Chopping Maul map. You will have to have completed all of the doomwood quests neccessary to enter Zorbak's hut but hopefully you have aleady done that.

Other Tips:
You need to understand the Necromancer to really master it. Necromancers are all about stealing life energy from the living and even sacrificing their own life energy to become more powerful. If you are unwise, you can eaisly kill yourself with this class.

The class balances on the razor's edge between life and death. Using your own life force to power your pet and stealing your enemies life force to keep you alive. It needs you to pay attention and use your brain.

Watch your HP bar, find the happy place between sacrifice and power... then DESTROY!

If I were you I'd use Wizard Enhancements since Necro gets its power mainly from INT and slightly from WIS like Magi do.


1st Skill [Rank 1]: Summon Minion OR Summon BFF
Magical
Summons an undead minion to your side (only appears if summoned outside of combat). Also sends your minion into a frenzy increasing all damage by 150% but casting a DoT on yourself, damaging you over time.
Cost: 45 MP, 16 sec cooldown
Tips: FIRST, if you do not summon your minion, your attacks will do next to nothing to your foe.This should the first skill you use, unless the Skeletal Minion is already standing right in front of you.

SECOND, if you have another pet equipped, UNequip it. Your minion cannot be summoned if you already have a pet equipped.

THIRD, once your minion has been summoned this becomes a POWERFUL attack buff for your pet. You watch as your pet goes into overdrive doing slightly more than DOUBLE DAMAGE for the duration of the effect, but you also watch a portion of your life energy tick away.

2nd Skill [Rank 2]: Weaken OR Tickled Pink
Magical
Leech life from the target, dealing damage while healing you. Also weakens the target, lowering damage by 40% for 6 seconds.
Cost: 20 MP, 5 sec cooldown
Tips: You will be using this skill a LOT. Not only does it do a small amount of damage and return some HP to you, it also lowers your foe's damage output by 40% for the duration of the effect. As nice as this is, between your pet's Frenzy skill and the Infect skill, you will be giving up a lot of your life.
Deals 205% weapon damage.

Use this to keep you going.

3rd Skill [Rank 3]: Infect OR Pinkalicious Rage
Magical
Infect yourself, damaging yourself and restoring 20 MP.
Cost: 3 sec cooldown
Tips: THIS SKILL is the dangerous one. You can get away without using it, but if you learn how to use it wisely, it basicaly opens up a world of infinite power to you. Use this skill to convert a good portion of your HP directly into MP.
Does not restore mana when the mana bar is over 80.

Master this skill and you master the class.

4th Skill [Rank 4]: Passive Ability
Death's Strength OR Incurable Pink Eye: Increase Damage Output by 15%
Death's Speed OR Artix's Weakness: Increase Haste by 20%

5th Skill [Rank 5]: Command Undead OR Pink Empowerment
Magical
Use your Necrotic magic to assault your opponent, either commanding your pet to attack for massive damage or dealing a weakened version by yourself.
Cost: 20 MP, 6 sec cooldown
Tips: Here is your mini-nuke. It's a very handy power to unlock as it buffs your pet for a beefy single strike against your foe which only costs mana, without eating any of your life. Use in conjunction with Summon Frenzy skill and apply liberally to foe for best results.
Deals 275% weapon damage.
Causes player to use "/point" emote.

6th Skill [Rank 4]: Passive Ability
Necrotic Resistance: reduce spell damage taken by 30%





Chaos Shaper Class Skills


Description: You have come to understand that Chaos is a tool that can be used for neither good nor evil. Mastering it could make you powerful beyond imagining... unless you lose yourself in the Chaos.

Armor: Chaos Shaper ANIMATION

How to get:
Anyone who has EVER purchased a total of 15 months (or more) worth of AQW memberships (even if those 15 months weren't all at once, and even if they have expired) will get the CHAOS SHAPER BADGE on their character page and in their Book of Lore! Click on your badge in the Book of Lore and you can open a shop that will grant you access to these Chaos Shaper Class.

Other Tips:
Most of the Chaos Shaper's abilities have 2 possible outcomes. That means that you can't really plan out your next move. You NEED to think fast and respond to each outcome. It completely changes how you play, each time you use a skill.

Even though this class require a lot of Luck to help your Crits, it's a very strong Warrior based class that is best at mowing down your enemy fast by overpowering them. I suggest STR based enhancements for fast damage.


1st Skill [Rank 1]: Twist Time

The powers of Chaos alter time increasing your attack speed OR reducing the speed of your enemy.
Cost: 30 MP, 10 sec cooldown
Tips: As with most possible stun powers this is a good lead off ability but again, either way you win. Either your foe loses HALF of its damage dealing ability for a few seconds OR it gets stunned, giving you a chance to Twist Time and get some mana back fast or let the next skill do its job.

2nd Skill [Rank 2]: Chaos Fog

A Chaotic stuns your target OR weakens the target reducing the damage it does.
Cost: 30 MP, 10 sec cooldown
Tips: As with most possible stun powers this is a good lead off ability but again, either way you win. Either your foe loses HALF of its damage dealing ability for a few seconds OR it gets stunned, giving you a chance to Twist Time and get some mana back fast or let the next skill do its job.

3rd Skill [Rank 3]: Chaotic Touch

A Chaotic touch that harms your target or heals yourself.
Cost: 20 MP, 7 sec cooldown
Tips: This Ability can be a lifesaver but I have found that it's never that outcome that I want when I want it. Either your target gets a fairly powerful DoT (Damage over Time) placed on it that ticks away its life which you go to town on it, or... and you need this one... it hits you with a fairly powerful HoT (Heal over Time). I've found that this is a good skill to use if you pull off a stun. You will come to depend on that HoT but remember that you can never count on anything when you're playing with Chaos!

4th Skill [Rank 4]: Passive Ability
Chaotic Strength: Increase STR by 10%
Chaotic Focus: Increase CRIT by 10%

5th Skill [Rank 5]: Death Grip

The power of Chaos causes high damage to your target BUT might backfire and cause harm to yourself instead!
Cost: 30 MP, 10 sec cooldown
Tips: This skill is the live saver and the heart breaker. You have a 60% chance to deal a MASSIVE blow to your target and it's just about as expensive in terms of mana as any of the other skills allowing you to do a LOT of damage over and over and over. But that leaves a 40% chance that your Chaotic power will backlash against you dealing a massive hit to yourself. YOU CAN KILL YOURSELF, so beware!






Shaman Class Skills


Description: Shaman share a deep connection with Lore's four main Elements, enabling their robes to be completely color customizable. Commanding their primal instincts in battle leads these magic mavens to victory.

Other Tips:
The most important thing that you need to understand about UndeadSlayer is that is was built for SLAYING UNDEAD. It is a decent class for soloing but might feel a little underpowered UNTIL you are in DoomWood, BattleUnder, Shadowfall or fighting undead in some other area.

The UndeadSlayer Class has an interesting dynamic that you won't find in any other class. It takes both Mana to use its abilities but you also need to gather Spirit Orbs to increase the effects of the skills. Getting Spirit Orbs is easy, you get one every time your auto-attack goes off against an undead, even if you miss. You'll see the count going up as you fight and it will max out that 200 Spirit Orbs.

I've found it pretty useful against undead bosses to just sit there and heal myself until ive' got a LOT of Spirit Orbs banked. After that you can either blow it all on a big Dragon Lance, cause it's nice to see that BIG damage, but make sure you heal first. One last mega-heal never hurts and after the Lance, because after that you're back to 0 Orbs and a rinky dink heal.

The other option is to keep the stacks and damage flowing. If you keep the spirit orbs banked, Exorsize and Vorpal Strike start really doing some serious damage and the BEST part is they the cooldowns and mana cost remain steady so you just clewing through the bosses HP and keeping up those mega-self-heals.

Depends on your play-style.

Either way, I think this class accomplishes what Artix wanted when he designed the skills. It allows you to mow through undead as if you WERE Artix himself, Spirit Orbs and all. The more you fight the STRONGER you get.


1st Skill [Rank 1]: EXORCISE
Physical
A powerful spirit attack, damage enhanced by spirit power. More effective against undead.
This class is not complex. This is an attack. It does damage. It does more damage against undead. The more Spirit Orbs you have banked, the more damage it does. It's a very inexpensive skill with a very fast cooldown so spam it.
Cost: 10 MP, 2 sec cooldown

2nd Skill [Rank 2]: SPIRIT OF HEALING
Physical
Heal yourself with spirit power. Amount healed increased with spirit power.
A handy self-heal. It's enough to keep you alive with low spirit orbs but as stacks go up it makes it insane. Nearly a full heal with the max 200 Spirit Orbs banked.

This one will eat your mana if you're not careful but considering the cooldown it shouldn't be a problem for most to balance cost versus effect.
Cost: 20 MP, 10 sec cooldown

3rd Skill [Rank 3]: VORPAL STRIKE
Physical
A strong attack enhanced by spirit power.
Once again, if you can make a sandwich, you can use this class. This is another attack. It also does damage. The more Spirit Orbs you have banked, the more damage it does. Once again, it's cheap and has a fast cooldown. Your mana won't flat line if you are spamming this one as soon as the cooldown pops either.
Cost: 10 MP, 5 sec cooldown

4th Skill [Rank 4]: Passive Ability
REJUVINATION: Increase Endurance by 15%
BLESSED SPEED BURST: Increase Haste by 10%

5th Skill [Rank 5]: DRAGON LANCE
Physical
A strong attack enhanced by spirit power. The UndeadSlayer's ultimate attack. Requires at least 20 Spirit Power to use. Consumes ALL Spirit Power.
Here's the Big Daddy attack for Undead Slayer. This attack does a MININUM of around 6000 damage to an undead foe and the damage only goes up with the Spirit Orbs you bank. With a full stack banked, it's not uncommon to see a crit for around 15-20,000 damage. It's pretty nasty.
Cost: 30 MP, 30 sec cooldown

6th Skill [Rank 10]: Passive Ability
SPIRIT SURGE: Small chance that using one of your skills other than Auto-Attack may result in instantly maxing out your Spirit Power.

This is a pretty nice little extra you get for maxing out the class. I've had it happen to me only twice in testing but suddenly your heals are HUGE and your Dragon Lance are taking a third of an undead bosses life.







Vindicator Of They Class Skills


Description: Through arduous battling and a perilous journey, you defeated the Collector and vindicated They Might Be Giants!

How to get:
There's 2 way you can get the Vindicator Of They Class:
- From the Token daily quests in the AQWorlds 3rd Birthday - They Might Be Giants! event (Members can earn tokens twice as fast!), then use the tokens to purchase the class, helm, sword and cape from the Token Shop.
- Buy the AC version of the class from the Johns in the Collection map or from Ragnar in Battleon, but remember that you can only buy the CLASS with ACs. If you want the rest of the set then you'll have to do those dailies.

For your information, this class is related to the AQWorlds 3rd Birthday - They Might Be Giants! event, so this class WILL go rare when the rest of the event leaves (Approximately at October 2012).

Other Tips:
This class was designed to be a single target or solo class. It will work best in groups like every other class, but it can handle a fight on its own and it likes it that way.

It's an armored caster class so I used INT Enhancements but you might want to try HYBRID or HEALER and see how those work for you. If you encounter any issues with this class, it will be managing your Mana... at least until you hit Rank 10.


1st Skill [Rank 1]: SUPER TASTER
Physical / Magical
Summons a Super Taster to bite your foe, causing a DoT and slowing your enemy for 6 seconds.
This is your first and least expensive skill. Once you get your healing attack it's hard to remember to use this one but you MUST NOT FORGET IT. The Damage Over Time is one of the most powerful in the game and the haste debuff is something you never want to be without.
Cost: 15 MP, 5 sec cooldown


2nd Skill [Rank 5]: I JUST WANT YOUR HALF
Magical
Take a small amount of you foe's life force and heal yourself for a small amount.
Notice that the cooldown is only 3 seconds on this one? That will cause you to want to spam it but don't fall for it. You will eat your mana and be left with nothing in no-time. It is the wise warrior who knows when to apply a self-heal.
Cost: 20 MP, 3 sec cooldown


3rd Skill [Rank 5]: WE WANT A ROCK
Magical
Petrify your opponent for 4 seconds but applies a DoT to you.
Use this skill at your own risk. The ability to turn most monsters into stone is a nice one to have, especially when you want to deal out the last few seconds of damage in peace but the price may not be worth paying. It's not that big of a deal since you can heal the DoT away but again, it is a question of how you want to spend your mana.
Cost: 20 MP, 20 sec cooldown


4th Skill [Rank 5]: Passive Ability
I'VE GOT A FANG: Increase Damage Output by 20%
HOT CHA: Increase Haste by 20%


5th Skill [Rank 5]: MASS OF INCANDESCENT GAS
Magical
Create a tiny SUN causing massive damage. Applies a DoT and reduces the damage the enemy does for 10 seconds.
First, while the mana cost is high, the cooldown is only 10 seconds so it is possible to use it very often. Second, it deals a massive blow to your enemy. Third, it ALSO lays a DoT (Damage Over Time) on them leeching them for even more damage. Fourth and finally, it ALSO debuffs the enemy reducing the amount of damage they can do for TEN full seconds.
Cost: 30 MP, 10 sec cooldown


6th Skill [Rank 10]: Passive Ability
CAN'T KEEP JOHNNY DOWN: Randomly, on hit, fully refills your mana.
The reward for getting your Vindicator Of They all the way to rank 10 is that your mana will completely refill itself from time to time. Since it's a utility skill instead of an attack Artix Entertainment have coded it to happen about TEN TIMES MORE OFTEN than the other rank 10 passive class before this class.







PaladinSlayer Class Skills

Anyone who has played through the first portion of DoomWood knows that Vordred, the PaladinSlayer was built for nothing more or less than completely destroying every last Paladin on the face of Lore but their dark powers go far beyond that one simple task. They are powerhouse damage-dealers DESIGNED for combat!

It draws some of its strength from Str and some from Int as it has a number of Physical and Magical attacks. I've had the best results with Hybrid Enh, but if you want to add some survivability, try SpellBreaker and let us know what you think on the forums!


1st Skill [Rank 1]: DECAY

A quick strike dealing both weapon damage plus magical damage. Applies Decay which stacks up to 5 times. First stops all healing them applies a progressively worse DoT.
Here's your main PvP skill for fighting any kind of healer, Paladin or otherwise. You'd be surprised how weak most other classes get when they can't heal themselves. This is also your go-to power. There are better Damage over Time powers in other AQW classes but never underestimate how much life this skill can eat away. Just make sure you keel that stack going... do not let it fade.
Cost: 12 MP, 4 sec cooldown


2nd Skill [Rank 2]: DARK ENERGY

Condenses dark energy into a solid projectile and launches it at your enemy.
This is another damage skill. You fire a crystal of pure darkness at your intended target. Great for pulling monsters from across the room so you never have to slow down combat. Also good for firing into the backs of fleeing foes in the PvP arena.
Cost: 15 MP, 7 sec cooldown


3rd Skill [Rank 3]: DARK GRIP

Darkness grips your enemy, reducing haste and increasing all damage they receive.
At this rank you start becoming valuable in a group setting, be it PvP or teaming up to fight bosses in the storyline, but this powerful debuff is also really good for solo adventuring. This is another ability that you should not allow to fade. Slowing your foe provides a little damage mitigation, but lowering their defenses at the same time make this skill worth the rather high mana cost.
Cost: 35 MP, 15 sec cooldown


4th Skill [Rank 4]: Passive Ability
DARK POWER: Increase Strength by 15%
DARK MARK: Increase Critical Chance by 5%

Ranking up the class unlocks the ability to hit harder every time you hit, plus an increased chance of getting a critical strike. Nothing bad about it.


5th Skill [Rank 5]: UNDEAD POWER

Applies a damage and dodge buff to yourself or a friend.
For 10 seconds your damage is increased by 60% and your dodge rate goes up providing a decent amount of cover from incoming damage. Once again, solo adventurers will be glad to have this power but it also makes this class ideal for team play.

While testing this ability, we tried teaming up with a lot of classes. The Necro, CardClasher and Vindicator of They classes saw a very noticeable spike in damage output since their damage output is already so high. Rogue, if paired with its skills correctly, was flat-out damage proof for a while but the neatest effect we saw with Defender class. With it's ability to maintain aggro from monsters, this became a real game changer. Paired with PaladinSlayer's damage output it because an army of 2.

Cost: 20 MP, 45 sec cooldown


6th Skill [Rank 10]: Passive Ability
VOIDUMINANCE: POW
Like a lot of recent classes, this one also has a rank 10 passive. Every once in a while, out of nowhere, you will see a little yellow "Voiduminance" and a very very large damage number appear over your foe. It's tasty.

Description: Vader Darkside was the winner of the 2nd I CAN HAS MOD contest and wished that the Cheezeburger change into a farming based, pet class and thus the Darkside class was born. Now go out and embrace your rage!

How to get:
Vader Darkside was the winner of the 2nd round of the I CAN HAS MOD contest. He wished that Cysero's Golden Cheezburger be transformed into a pet class that is good for farming which members and non-mebers alike could use. In order to get the class you need to have Cysero's Golden Cheezburger which was sold from Cleric Joy for about a month before the contest ended. The Class will not be sold for ACs or gold anywhere in the game. No burger, no class.



Mana Regeneration Tips:
Darksiders gain mana from all hits landed in combat,and especially on crits. The amount depends on damage relative to "their own" HP total.


Other Tips:
Vader Darkside wished for a caster class so this guy does all magical damage. I highly suggest Wizard Enh. Vader Darkside wished for a class with a lot of AOE (Area Of Effect, or Multi-hit) attacks which was not as strong as Necro but still a good solid farming class. I think that is just what we've built for him. That means that while this class is GREAT for taking on lots of monsters at once, it's not great at bosses. It has some skills that will be useful in PvP but I wouldn't recommend this as a PvP class.


1st Skill [Rank 1]: BLOOD BOIL
Magical
Summons your Battle pet or focuses your anger through your pet to DOUBLE their damage for a short time.
You know what this is if you've ever played Necro or Horc Evader. If you don't have a pet equipped (Battle Pet or even a normal pet) then it will summon the Hate Wolf to your side. If you already have the Hate Wolf or some other Battle Pet summoned, then it's a REALLY nice buff. I suggest using this after you have a few stacks of Deep Rage built up.
Cost: 25 MP, 15 sec cooldown

2nd Skill [Rank 2]: DARK POWER
Magical
You strike out at your foes with arcing energy, doing light damage and applying Deep Rage to all foes hit. Damage increases with stacks of Deep Rage which stacks up to 5 times.
We couldn't built a caster class for a guy named VADER DARKSIDE without adding lightening shooting from your hands! This is your go-to skill. The cooldown is rather long for a skill that applies a stacking aura but since you can hit multiple foes you can get 3 or even 4 stacks at once. Then activate Blood Boil and BOOM, big hits and bigger crits on everything in sight.
Cost: 15 MP, 6 sec cooldown

3rd Skill [Rank 3]: BLINDING PAIN
Magical
Light damage to all enemies, 25% chance to stun all enemies in range for 4 seconds and reduces enemy damage. Damage reduction increases with stacks of Deep Rage.
This is your damage mitigation spell. Use it when things are getting hairy to reduce incoming damage, do a little of your own damage on the side and possibly stun one, several or ALL of the enemies you are facing. It's not too costly and it only has a 10 second cooldown which means you should use it often if you want to be successful.
Cost: 25 MP, 10 sec cooldown

4th Skill [Rank 4]: Passive Ability
BLOOD RUSH: Increase Haste by 10%
TERRIFYING MIGHT: Increase Damage by 10%

5th Skill [Rank 5]: RENEWAL SPELL
Magical
Requires at least one stack of Deep Rage. Restores some Health and Mana but reduces Haste severely for a short time. Health, Mana and Haste Reduction increase based on stacks of Deep Rage.
This spell pretty much ensures that you never need to stop farming. Ever. Notice that it has NO mana cost. Just click it and you get Health and Mana back but you HAVE to know when to use it. If you let your life or mana get too low before you use it, the Haste Reduction will get you killed by whatever mob of monsters you have attacking you from all sides. Use it right and you are an unstopable farming machine!
Cost: 30 sec cooldown

6th Skill [Rank 10]: Passive Ability
LASH OUT: You can no longer contain your rage. It explodes from you in a magical wave. All enemies in range take high damage. Consumes all stacks of Deep Rage.

Here's the cherry on top. Small % to proc this spell which devestates anyone or anything in your area.

Horc Evader & Troll SpellSmith!

Double Class Weekend!

As promised, we are giving you TWO classes for the Bloodtusk Ravine area and BOTH of them are coming out tomorrow.

As promised both classes will require a reputation rank of 10 for each of the respective ranks to purchase, but after the recent fashion we will be offering a 2000 AC version of each of the classes for those who feel like they'd rather save the time and effort.

As promised each of the classes have human versions of the art for the class and a Horc or Troll version of the art as armor which is also Rank 10 Rep.

Since we have a lot to go through, let's get down to business. Here are the skill breakdowns for each of these classes.

HORC EVADER SKILL SET

There are two interesting things about this class at first glance. First is that this is our SECOND PET CLASS, meaning that you need a Battle Pet in order to use any of it's skills.

You'll be happy to know that the class comes with a Battle Boar which you can summon using the Whistle Skill as long as you don't have any other pets equipped. Just make sure that pets are visible in your options screen.

The second thing that you might notice is that, even though most people think that the Horcs are all about brute force, this is a class with light armor which focuses heavily on stacking a lot of Dodge. That is because the Evader is a master of a different school of Horc thought which thinks that being able to take a hit is necessary but to develop the skill to easily side-step your opponents clumsy attacks while developing the ability to command a pet to attack them with bestial fury at the same time is a show of ultimate focus and skill.

This class benefits from DEX more than anything else so I suggest Thief Enh for this class.

AUTO ATTACK

2 second cooldown.

A basic attack taught to all adventurers.

WHISTLE

45 mana, 16 second cooldown.

Calls a pet to your side or sends it into a rage causing more damage but making you take more damage too.

If you don't have a Battle Pet equipped, this will summon the Battle Boar to your side and once its there this skill will increase your damage output but will also leave you vulnerable to attacks, making you take more... if they can hit you. Once you have a good Dodge stack you shouldn't be afraid of using this skill but keep an eye on your life bar.

SHADOW STRIKE

10 mana, 3 second cooldown.

Your pet attack your target causing Damage Over Time while also increasing your Dodge for a short time. Effect stacks up to 3 times.

This is your go-to skill. it should be the first thing you do after summoning your pet. Once you have three stacks of Shadow Strike applied, you will have a weak-ish DoT eating away at your foe's life AND you will receive the benefit of having a very hefty Dodge stacked up.

Remember that you need to keep three stacks of this skill up at all time but that DoT won't kill your enemy so you need to balance it with the other damage dealing skills. Since it's built on the Warrior mana-regen model you will be getting mana every time you hit, or get hit but you won't be getting hit a lot so keep an eye on your mana.

SMELL FEAR

15 mana, 5 second cooldown.

Your pet sniffs out your foe's weak spot greatly increasing you Dodge and Crit but slowing your attack speed for a short time. 

I'll leave it to you to decide when you use this skill. The Dodge and Crit are VERY nice to have, especially on top of the Dodge buff from Shadow Strike but slowing your attack speed means even LESS mana coming in. It's a question of what you need at the time.

NIGHT HUNTER & SHADOW WISE

Rank 4 Passive

Increase Critical Chance by 10%

Increase Dodge by 10%

Ranking up the class unlocks the ability to get critical hits more often, plus EVEN MORE DODGE... They don't call it the Evader Class for nothing.

HUNTER'S CALL

20 mana, 6 second cooldown.

You decide to put an end to this fight quickly. You call out to your pet increasing you AND your foe's Haste for a short amount of time.  

There are various uses for this skill. If you just activate it without using any other skills you should get a lot of mana rather quickly for a short amount of time.

Or you CAN use it counter the slowing effect of smell fear but the price is nearly doubling your foe's attack speed for a while. It app depends on how much Dodge you have stacked up.

SMELL BLOOD

Rank 10 Passive

You sense that your foe is near defeat which causes a burst of incredible speed for a few moments.

From time to time you will see yourself suddenly start attacking at Fast Forward speed, increasing your damage output AND your mana regen for a while.

You will notice that THIS class is the first class in a while that has no healing skill. The idea is to use your skill as a player to keep your Dodge so high that you don't NEED to heal yourself, but you can always use your potion slot for that if you want.

TROLL SPELLSMITH SKILL SET

This is a warrior/caster who is very multi-talented. You have an AOE that can attack many foes at once, a decent amount of single target damage and chance of stun which is great for solo-ing or taking on bosses and a self-heal which is ALSO a HUGE buff to ALL of your skills.

This class is all about representing the Trolls academic interests as well as their mastery of the magical arts. It's an elegant class more like a razor than a broadsword. You need to know which skills to use and when and there is a low of room for creativity with how you use them. 

This class benefits from INT more than anything else so I suggest Wizard Enh for this class.

AUTO ATTACK

2 second cooldown.

A basic attack taught to all adventurers.

ENERGY ARC

35 mana, 10 second cooldown.

Calls on the power of electricity to arc from one foe to the next, slowing all of their attack speeds.

This is a really nice first skill for a few reasons. First off, unlike Shaman, this lighting attack doesn't weaken as it arcs from one to the next. Each enemy receives the same damage. Similarly they are all slowed the same amount. Of course, if you're not careful you will have an entire room of monsters on you and then it won't matter HOW slow they attack.

FROSTFLAME

25 mana, 5 second cooldown.

A freezing fire that will cause moderate ice damage and slow your enemies with a chance to stun them.

This is a GREAT skill. The damage is moderate but at a 5 second cooldown you end up causing a LOT of damage. The stun is always a nice treat but the slow stacks with the slow from the first power causing your foes to attack you at a crawl.

FOCUS ENERGY

16 second cooldown.

Convert your own energy into mana but slows your attack and lowers your damage for a while.

Like the Necromancers of DoomWood, trolls have learned to consume their own life-force and convert it into much needed mana, which is dangerous enough, but the speed and damage debuff will make you think twice before using this skill. It can be a life-saver but only if you have the skill to see when its needed.

EMPOWER & SHIFT FATE

Rank 4 Passive

Increase Damage Output by 10%

Increase Critical Chance by 10%

Ranking up the class unlocks the ability to get critical hits more often, while also doing more damage overall. In short, this is a massive buff to the entire class.

WEAKNESS SIGIL

20 mana, 5 second cooldown.

Stacks up to 5 times. Heals you for a little bit, increases the effectiveness of all other skills and increases your chance to crit on your foe with each stack.

This skill is flat out AMAZING. It speaks for itself but in case you missed it... it is a SELF-HEAL with a 5 second cool-down that makes ALL of you other skills stronger with each stack AND raises your chance to crit on a single target. it keeps you alive and seals your foe's fate at the same time. It's the best reason to rank up that I've ever seen.

TROLL CONTROL

Rank 10 Passive

Random chance to double your attack speed for 10 seconds.

Like the Evader, this rank 10 passive will also have you breaking into frenzied spell-casting giving you the chance to burn your fow down before they know what happened and since you can make your own mana, feel free to go nuts!

So there you have it. People have been asking me which is better against the other one in PvP. Dumoose and I spent some serious 1v1 arena time trying to figure out the answer to that question and we STILL DON'T KNOW! It was really about 50/50 with neither being clearly superior to the other one so if you were hoping to run into the arena against the faction you're against and wipe the floor you might want some practice first just to give you that edge.

Each class will be in the Rep Shop for its own faction in Bloodtusk and you will be able to find the AC versions there as well as Itzachi's Class Shop in Battleon. If you're in a hurry to Rank your new class up, don't forget that Itzachi also sells the CLASS POINT BOOST in her shop as well.

REMINDER
